Nor did I hear from you on email.

Hi

Is the following completely natural as the start of an email? Any suggestions are welcome.

How are you? After our last and only conversation in April 2012, I could never speak to you again. Nor did I hear from you on email.

Thanks,

Tom

Supposing the recipient of the email knows the reason why the contact was broken. Let's say that the person (recipient) did have a land line phone, but he was hardly available at home. Although he was informed by the family about the number of the calls made to him, he never replied -- nor even on email. Does the original sound OK to you now?
