non progressive verbs

Hi Emotion: smile

I have a question. I know that there are non progressive verbs. You can use them in present continous but then, they have another meaning.

Example: have / having

There are some more verbs. But i don't know the difference between

cost /costing
want /wanting
be /being

Please help me!

Thanks a lot.
