Yes. A non-defining clause is virtually always the correct choice after a proper noun because a proper noun already specifies the identity of its referent.

The only exception is when two or more entities with the same name must be differentiated. And then, "the" needs to be added. the Susan who is sitting in the front row vs the Susan who is sitting in the back row.

Otherwise (only one 'Susan'), it's Susan, who is sitting near the door, ....
