Non Defining and Defining Clauses

Hi! Is my understanding correct? Also is the comma placed correctly? Thanks, Fulvio

1. Pizza which I eat often, is one of my favorite foods.

Non defining clause. Just additional information but not essential to the meaning of the sentence if removed.

2. The man who comes from America is a doctor.

Defining clause. You are at some international function with a colleague. You both talked with an Italian an American and German before an hour ago. You are having a conversation currently with your colleague and mention about one of the men you both talked to. "The man who comes from America is a doctor. Here you are identifying the man out of the 3 men you both met.
