Hi Everyone,
I just want to check my explanation of non continuous versus continuous.
In the first sentence, the word 'have' is non continous because it functions as a stative verb. However, in the second sentence, the word 'have' functions as an active or dynamic verb.
I am having a cold. vs (incorrect use)
I am having a BBQ. (correct use)
Is there anything else I should mention that I haven't about these two sentences?
Thanks,
