Hello,
Is in below situations noise a countable word?

Hardwood floors make a noise when people with high heel shoes walk on them.
My neighbour makes tones of noises and disturb me to sleep.
Dormitory renovations create lots of noises and will disturb students to study.

<p><em>Noise</em> can be countable or uncountable.  "My neighbour makes a lot of noise and disturbs my sleep." Or, "my neighbour makes lots of noises and disturbs my sleep." There is a subtle difference here.  The first just means noise in general.  The second implies several different noises, for example music, shouting, banging on the walls, etc.</p>
