nona the brit'land of nod' is quite common, but noddyland, no. It makes me think of the children's book/cartoon character Noddy, rather than sleep.I thought it sounded British! Does Noddy live in Noddy Land?

When I was a girl in Scotland we used 'Noddyland' or the 'Land of Nod' to mean to go off to bed, go to sleep and dream. This was based on the cartoon character Noddy, who in the 70s was drawn and written about in book form. Looks like he's a plastic toy now, but as I've lived abroad for decades, I'm not up to date on his latest forms!
Noddyland is the land of make believe, nothing is real.
