No wonder/ No wonder why?

Hi! Can you help me with this?

A: Did you relly do this?

B: Yes?

A: No wonder why people call you the stupidest. / No wonder people call you the stupidest.

Which one of them is correct? Does the same apply to " no matter + why"?.

A: Did you really do this?
B: Yes.
A. No wonder people call you the stupidest.

Why is always unnecessary with no wonder, as it is with reason. The phrase no matter why is possible.

Thanks, Aspara Gus! How about no matter? By the way the reason I put a question mark after "Yes" was something like "Yeah, so what?".

You can use both, but the second is the most used colloquially - " No wonder people say. . . " etc.

What is your question about it? Do you have a specific sentence in mind? Why is always possible with no wonder but not with no matter. They are not the same.

Ah. I had no idea.

Oh, my bad. I think I mixed it up for other phrase. Sorry! ( Every sentence I've been making sounds rather weird to me nowadays, for some reason!)
