No where near (as) sure and TRAFFIC vs CONGESTION

Can someone help me with these 3 sentences? please

1 He's your safest bet as I'm nowhere near as sure about the answer to the question as he is.

2 There is a lot of congestion/traffic, we should take the subway.

3 My bed sheet is yellow from the wash. There were T shirts in there that ran/the colors ran into each other.
