No sooner.....than....

Hi all,
I like to know how to write a sentence with the phrase "No Sooner ......than....".
Please help me with the above.

Some where I found example like this "No sooner ....than + past tense."

I don't what does inverted past perfect tense means ?

Help me what does it mean with the above mentioned phrase.

After the "no sooner" part we should use an inverted past perfect ( had I become as opposed to the normal (not inverted) "I had become ; the past perfect marker "had" comes before the subject) There are other ways to write this sentence.
