No sooner ... than

Hi experts,

Instead of "did" as in "no sooner did one do sth. than one did sth. else", I'm wondering is it correct to use DO, as in:

No sooner DO I ... than I DO ...

Is this correct?

Thanks.

Hi,

Do and Did are both OK, but don't use them in part two f the sentnce.

Say
eg No sooner did I sit down than the phone rang.
eg No sooner do I sit down than the phone rings.
