No other option

I have no option at work other than to spell this out. Are all the hyphens correct. I don't care how unsightly the hyphens look. I just need to know if the punctuation is correct.

The five-foot-eleven-and-a-half-inch man ...

The six-foot-two-and-three-quarter-inch-tall basketball player...

The six-foot-one-and-one-half-inch athlete...

The five-foot-one-and-a-half-inch jockey...

The nine-pound-three-and-one-half-ounce infant...

The thirty-pound-six-and-a-half-ounce baby...

The forty-five-and-a-half-pound dumbbell...

The sixty-three-and-one-half-pound suitcase...

Thanks

This is how The New Yorker would write ’em, methinks. Just seeing whether my examples were dead-on in terms of punctuation (à la The New Yorker).
