no. nos.

Hello Emotion: smile
If I understand well,
if there are a lot of schools/kindergartens I should say:

I have worked in Preschools Nos. 1,2,5 and 6 in Paris.
or
I have worked in Preschool Nos. 1,2,3 and 6 in Paris.
or
I have worked in Preschool No. 1,2,3 and 6 in Paris.

(they are all separate institutions/buildings, of course)

Thank you for your help!
Kind regards.

I think I have already answered this for you. The first one is not right; the other 2 are in use (the 3rd was does not quite make logical sense, but some style guides do think that 's' should be used in such abbreviations). You must also leave a blank space at all times after commas, colons, semi-colons, periods, and sentence ends.

Hello,
Thank you for all your explanations.
Yes, I know you have already written 'worked in Preschool Nos. 2, 3, 4 and 7" in one of your post addressed to me.
I didn't understand, though, why we should use the word 'preschool' in singular if they are separate institutions...
As I haven't found any explanation on this question on the Internet, I have posted a new question on

I look at Preschool as part of the name of each one: Preschool No. 1, Preschool No. 2, etc. We do not usually pluralize in that structure, I think: Use finger numbers one and two to make a 'V'. Robert Jr and Sr both attended the wedding. etc.
