Are these sentences correct?

There is no more beautiful story than that of their friendship.

There is no story more beautiful than that of their friendship.

If so, the meaning of your above sentence is quite obscure. You can try this one: There is no more beautiful friendship than their story is.

Thank you for your kind comment. I meant "There is no more-beautiful story than the story of their friendship." Maybe I am also praising their friendship, but the main point which I wanted to express was "The story of their friendship is the most beautiful," and I am trying to rewrite it.

I prefer the hyphen because it creates the compound adjective "more-beautiful", which to me accents how beautiful the story is. But since "more" can also be an adverb, it is grammatically correct wi
