This is what a well-known UK law firm puts on its homepage by way of an introduction:
Our commercial teams deliver a comprehensive range of services to local, national and international clients. With a large team of practitioners, we can support you, your people and your business no matter the size or market sector in which you operate.
I feel that "no matter" used here is somewhat irregularly. I would put it as "no matter what the size or market sector... is" or "whatever the size or market sector... may be".
Could someone kindly provide me with some comments?

It doesn't strike me as irregular, especially if there was a comma before, but I'm not a native, so you'd better wait for someone else's opinion.

To native speakers, 'no matter the' is a common and understandable compression of 'no matter what the...is'. Same for 'whatever the'.
