No less than v.s. no fewer than

Regarding the following two sentences:

(A) She has no less than 1,000 books in her room.
(B) She has no fewer than 1,000 books in her room.

Which is more appropriate as an equivalent to "She has as many as 1,000 books in her room"? Or are they both okay?

The general rule is, if you can count something, use "fewer."

However, if you think of "1000 books" as a giant old mass of books, you could use "no less than."

I would write "fewer."
