No less than?

Hi everyone.

Could you tell me what "no less than" means in the sentence below?

Ultimately, it is from Anselmo no less than from Pablo that Jordon receives a challenge.

Source: a study guide to "For whome the bell tolls" by Ernest Hemingway.

Thanks!

Jordan receives a challenge from Pablo, but he also receives it from Anselmo. The idea is that at first it looks like he receives it only from Pablo but, if you think about it carefully, you see that he also receives it from Anselmo.
