No bit of

Hi Friends

I can't get the meaning of this sentence:

For Georges Mieles as a showman, no bit of magic was too elaborate.

I can't understand "no bit of magic". As we know, the films of mielies were too elaborate. Then, What is the meaning of "no bit of magic" here?

Thanks

The meaning is: Melies, a magician by training, never hesitated to use the tools of his trade in his films - any and all conjuring tricks were allowed ("no bit of magic was too elaborate"), as far as he was concerned.
