No article for territory

Hi,



The following sentence is from the media. I don’t understand why there is no ‘the’ before ‘sell territory’.



Yesterday, two of our most important indicators moved into sell territory.

You will find no article before vast territory, bear territory etc. when the territory is used to mean 'country'. In your example the word territory can't be replaced with country but it represents a money concept rather than a physical area with its borders in which case it would have an article.
