I have another "tech-speak" question for you. ( Sorry for asking SUCH questions ... I just don't know of any alternative ( specialist) forums where eng students can discuss tech-speak along with general vocabulary words )
How do you ( would you) pronounce "NMEA" ( stands for National Marine Electronics Association )?

"Neema". Not correct in theory, but widely used in practice. Kind of shibboleth for marine industry.
