Nine Parts of Speech

What are the nine parts of speech? Some say there are only eight, but I thought there were nine.

I've never counted, but here goes: noun, pronoun, article, adjective, adverb, verb, preposition, conjunction, and interjection. I suppose a pronoun could be considered just a type of noun. And what about proper nouns?
