Night-time

"If you don't like the hustle and bustle of the big city, how have you survived living here for almost a year now?"

"At night-time it's bearable." - "Night-time makes it bearable."

- Is any of the two natural in the context or what else could I say?

- Is "night-time" used often in general? Could I replace it with "night"?
