I am not a native English speaker, but when people say "nice meeting you", it sounds like "I will probably not see you again, but take care." So when you hear "nice meeting you" in a job interview for example, that means you did not get the job.

They are just the same. Nice meeting you is in GERUND form whereas nice to meet you is in infinitive form. Both of them have the same or comparable meaning. GERUND ( Base form of the verb ) while Infinitive ( to + base form of the verb ). I hope that answers your query.
