Vocabulary

nice meeting you or nice to meet you?

It seems that both are widely used; but what's the difference between them?

"Nice to meet you" would usually be said when you are first introduced to someone. Or, if you didn't say "nice to meet you" at the beginning of the conversation, you might say "(it was ) nice meeting you" at the end of the conversation.
