Next year's or our next year's -- again

Hi, I think Mr. M said putting possessive pronouns like "his" or "her" is OK for the types of this. Then I thought that we usually don't put anything before it. Why is it allowed? I thought the structure of this kind is more like "Japan's city" where anything before a proper noun "Japan" is not placed.

next year's meeting/seminar/conference
our next year's meeting
