Next Thursday = the coming Thur OR Thur next week?

Hi everybody,

"Long time no see!" Hope you're all well.

I've got a quick question. If it's Tuesday today, when you say "next Thursday", do you mean:-

1. the coming Thursday (i.e. the day after tomorrow) or

2. Thursday of next week?

Thx.
