Next and the next?

Hello. Could you please explain me when we say next and when the next (with definate article). Cannot find an answer anywhere...

I don't think it's ever incorrect to use the article. I think it would be incorrect to omit it following a verb. I'll give next example to Jane.

There are countless idioms in which the article isn't used. One of the most common is reference to a period of time right after the one we are currently in. For example, today is Monday 24 May. Talking that as a starting point, we say:
