Next (adverb vs. adjective)

Is it possible to say "see you next" ? (with 'next' as an adverb, meaning 'in the future' or 'soon').
Or do I have to use always as an adjective? 'see you next time', 'see you next week', 'see you next semester'...

Hi, Is it possible to say "see you next" ? (with 'next' as an adverb, meaning 'in the future' or 'soon'). No, it doesn't have any meaning as a 'good-bye' and it's not idiomatic.
