News

Some people think that newspapers are the best way to learn news. However, others believe that they can learn news better than through other media. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

It is generally believed that reading newspapers is the most effective way to know the situations happening around us while some people insist on the usefulness of other sources when it comes to getting news. Personally, I am convinced that both kinds of media can you humans good to learn news.

To begin with, printed articles are surely more reliable as the information is usually ensured to be correct. Hence, nobody can invent deceptive stories when writing journals and people can be exactly well-informed about everything, especially crucial news like crime, health introduction and weather forecasts. Additionally, newspapers always include real pictures of a person or a thing getting involved in an affair taken in reality which makes the information truer. To illustrate this, when a magazine writer writes about a road accident, he doubtlessly has to interview bystanders and provide photos of the case which causes his article to be more believable to readers.

However helpful paper articles are, I am of the opinion that other ways should be pointed out as the wholesome news sources. Firstly, social networking such as Facebook and Instagram helps individuals to gain a deeper personal as well as general insight into an issue through different posts from users. For instance, speaking of dining out in an eatery, some Facebookers may compliment on the food whereas some will criticize for the prices. Thereby, people who intend to have meals in that restaurant will know the pros and cons thanks to the various reviews. Secondly, it seems to me that passing news by oral communication is also a great measure because it is time-saving and convenient which enables people who are in a hurry to gain news fast. Lastly, some online websites provide us a wide range of topics, ranging from parenting, marriage to politics which satisfy our demands for knowing different things.

All in all, I still side with the former and the latter view that either way is worthwhile for us to be informed of news.

Thank you!!!
