New Year's Eve is a ponus

Could you please tell me what the word "ponus" means in the following sentence?

I found it is a slang word, but couldn't relate it to this sentence.

"New Year's Eve is a ponus, but if you wanna throw together a quick New Year's Eve party, here are some really fun DIYs that you can do."

I heard this sentence in the following YouTube video in 2:09 min.

Thank you
