New to a Job (Begin vs Start)

I was getting my coffee and saw this girl who seemed new to the job and I wanted to ask her if she is new.
1) Was this a correct sentence that I used: "have you just started your job?"
2) what would happen if I would use "begun"
3) Is there any better way for saying that?

Thanks a lot for your helps
