New Salary Offer

Please review or correct the following paragraphs as the bargaining points in my demand letter ...

" Subject: New Salary Offer

Dear Max:

With reference to the subject above, I'm declining to accept the salary offer until a review of my current responsibilities and salary/renumeration are formally negotiated and agreed. I'm very positive about my job and the organization. However, I would like to discuss how to increase my contribution, and the salary and other benefits I deserve from the company.

I know it's a very difficult decision on my part to make, however, considering the present economic situation and the cost of living here in (location ommitted), the current gross salary now I'm receiving monthly is no longer enough to sustain the basic needs of my growing kids, excluding their education, medical and health insurance expenses. For example, foods, clothing, house rental, car gasoline, school tuition fees and other grocery items are very expensive nowadays.
