new, old, and ?

Hello,

A new house.
An old house.

And if I want to say a house is somewhere between, what adjective should I use?

Thanks!

And if I want to say a house is somewhere between, what adjective should I use? There is no single appropriate adjective. You may say fairly new or fairly old, for instance, if you like.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
What if I want absolutely neutral term?

I have already told you there is none, to my knowledge. You will have to say that the house is 'neither new nor old'.
