Net sales were or net sales was
Hi,
For me the answer is obvious but I ended up in a long discussion about which version is correct.
Ver 1. Net sales were 100 million Euro, or
Ver 2. Net sales was 100 million Euro.
Is there any case that you could come up with where you should use Ver 2? (Now you kniw which version I think is correct?
