Neither vs nor

Which sentence is grammatically correct?

A) We don't know the depth of the disaster neither do we know the required aid.
B) We don't know the depth of the disaster nor do we know the required aid.

Sth tells me B, but am I right?

But while beginning a sentence, I take it only 'nor' is used?

He wasn't a good man. Nor was he a rich one. (for example)

Well, since I used 'neither' after a semi-colon in the first one, it should also work after a period. Frankly, they both sound OK to me.
