'Neither' / 'Nor' ?

We know *"neither"* and *"nor"* are bossom buddies : Neither [noun] nor [noun].
But they don't necessarily have to appear together if or when they start a sentence :
>Anna wasn't active in any social network sites. She didn't have a Twitter account. *Neither* / *Nor* did she maintain Facebook.
Do "neither" & 'nor' mean the same and are they interchangeable?
