Neighbour(ing)

Is this sentence correct:


a) "My house is neighbour to my brother's."


b) "That's the neighbouring house to my brother."

B reads ok but I'd go "... that's the house in my brother's neighborhood" OR "... next to my brother" OR ...

b) is better than a), but the more idiomatic sentences would have used the expression 'next-door neighbor' or something similar.

Here are a couple of possibilities.

I live next door to my brother.
My brother's next-door neighbor lives there.
