Could you tell me, please, if both of the following sentences are correct?



I have never felt so humiliated in all my life!

Never in all my life have I felt so humiliated!



Which one would be more used?

Yes, I think that implicit stress in the second sentences is a little pedantic.

1. What is the meaning of IMO, wirtten in one of the comments?

2. When using other verbs different from have, is it correct to say, for example:

a1) She does not realize how serious the thing is until now.

I have looked up the word 'pedantic' in my dictionary and it says it means giving too much attention to formal rules or small details. However, I don't really get what you meant by the second version sounding a little 'pedantic'. Could you explain it to me, please?
