Negative to affirmative

Hello,
I have to change the following negative sentences into affirmative sentences.
1. We did not find the road very bad.
A. We found the road quite bad.
B. We found the road rather bad.
C. We found the road fairly bad.

2. It is not likely that he will ever see his house again.

A. It is unlikely that he will ever see his house again.
B. It is likely that he has seen his house for last time.

Which one is correct?
