Negative sentence

Hello,

1.The earth is a planet.

I have to transform it in negative without changing the meaning.

I have no idea how to change. Some one told me that make it as interrogative negative i.e

a) Doesn't the earth a planet. ( ? mark omitted)

What is the exact method to convert?
