Negative have / has

Is this sentence correct?

"She doesn't have a brother"

I found it in the answer sheet of an exercise, but I thought we should use 'has' in 3rd person singular.

It is correct. After 'doesn't' the plain form always follows ('have').

She hasn´t a car. - Correct, but rather formal/old-fashioned.
She doesn´t have a car. - Correct, especially in AmE.
She hasn´t got a car. - Correct, especially in all but the most formal BrE.
