Needless Phrases and Redundancy

Needless phrases are common phrases that are unnecessary to the meaning of a sentence.

Redundancy is where two or more words are being used to say the same thing.

Revise each wordy sentence to eliminate needless phrases, redundancy and repetition.

Revision: We made the lowest bid and won the contract.

We have completely eliminated 100% of the bugs from this program.

Revision: We have elminiated all of the bugs from this program.

Power surges are associated, in a causative way, with malfunctions of computers.

Revision: Power surges cause malfunctions of computers. OR? Power surges cause computers to malfunction.

The appearance of this problem was just yesterday.

Revision: This problem appeared yesterday.

Please perform an analysis and make an evaluation of our new system.
