Need your opinion for my poem

This is the second time I try my hands on poems. I don't really know anything about poems. I just simply pay attention to the language of lyrics when I listen to songs. If you may, could you please give me some opinion. I need your opinion to improve in terms of both the contents and grammar, especially my punctuation. Great thanks in advance. 

                                        Struggle                       
Mummy, I know you mean good.
Mummy, I know you love me.
But this time I have to do it my way.

I need to fly far away
In search of my own place in the world.
I don’t belong here.
I’m not happy.

But I get upset,
Every time when you ask me to live below my means,
Because you want me to have an easy life.

I am hurt.
When I see you are not leading the life you deserve,
When I see you are not treated with dignity.

Mummy, I know you love me.
I know you want me to stay close to you.
I know I am and will always be a little child in your eyes.

But I am a fully-fledged eagle.
I’ve trained hard.
It’s my time to fly out of your shelter.
To persuade my own happiness.

One day,
I will show the world we can.
Our house will be too flashy for those scumbags to look straight into it.

Mummy, I know you’ve worked hard,
So that I can have a good easy life,
But that’s why I need to leave.

It’s only right if I live out a full live.
It’s the lesser of two evils.
It’s the most selfless selfish choice.

What can I blame?
This is my destiny.
