Need your opinion

Hi.

I wonder if you can comment on the following sentence and let me know if it sounds natural to your ear.

I am sorry to bother you with another email of mine.

I have used the above sentence alot in my correspondance with different people, but the other day a friend of mine said this is not a good way to express my apology in case I am writting so many times to someone.

I would be grateful if you could tell me your opinion.

Furthermore, it would be kind of if you could provide some other options for conveying the same meaning.

I am writing an email to American embassy, they told me to stop sending them email. And they informed me that they are processing my case.

But I have to email them and ask them about something.
