Need your kind attention

As im working for this company for 1 year and they intend to convert me into their contract staff but is not perm staff. So is a year to year contract, dun feel kind of secure. Any comments or suggestion to correct this following letter which going to write to my superior. Request to convert me to perm staff. Pls help to correct the letter stated below:

Dear superior,

Thanks for converting me to contract staff, may i request for a permanent position. I would like to take this apportunity to get support from you as im looking for a long-term career in this company. Hope you grant my desire of becoming part of your dedicate permanent staff as to seek for stability in this company. Looking forward for your kind feedback.
