Dear all,
I am not sure how John could use his only coin to take the hinge from the door. In fact, I'm confused with the words in bold. Could you explain it to me? Thank you very much.
John was locked into the freezer. All he had was coin in his pocket which he tried to use to take the hinges from the door. But y then, his frostbitten fingers were useless.
