Today, more and more people think that children should be exposed to academic knowledge as soon as possible while some people claim that 7-year-old is the best age to go to school. In my opinion, I totally believe that children need to have enough 7 years to get ready before attend any academic course.

Firstly, there are many disadvantages when a child too young must go to school. Indeed, 1-year-old to 6-year-old is a period to develop all their neuro-physiological, social and emotional capacities. Hence, learning a lot of new things can make them feel nervous lead to many serious mental health problems. In fact, it is also time for children to explore the outside world. Indeed, they need time and space to recognise everything around them, which help them develop their creativity. For example, we can not teach a four-year-old child to write a word when they do not really know the way to keep a pen. Moreover, children who are forced go to school at an early age have to under a lot of pressure when facing too many tests, in the long term this will make them feel studying so boring and they do not want to spend their whole effort to achieve the goal as their parent want.

Secondly, going to school after 6 years old is proved to be a golden period of time to start schooling. The first reason is at this age they have equipped nearly full of basic skill and their cognitive also be improved. What is more, their brain also develops and willing to learn something related to math or languages. Though they have to ask for assistance from their parents, they can build a timetable, learn to manage their time and deal with important tests. Studying at this age also make sure that children do not lose their childhood because they have a chance to relax and gain more experience as well as social skills which are not taught in any school.

In conclusion, I strongly agree with the idea to let children late start to schooling because at a suitable age they can digest knowledge easier and more efficient.
