hi buddy, here is the sentence:
he looked bleached, drained of pigment, antiseptic, neat, emotionless.

what is the "antiseptic" supposed to mean?

Top answer

For future reference the use of "hi buddy" comes across as unduly familiar, even a bit pushy. I would recommend against its use. As to your question, in this context "antiseptic" means that the person looks excessively neat as though he obsesses for hours over his appearance before he ventures outside.
