Need & want.

Think of a situation: A salesmen come infornt of your house and asks you to puchase
a product. What would you say if you were to reject his offer ?

1."We don't need"
2."We don't want"

Which of them is correct.
Also correct me if you could find any gramatical error in this.

I wouldn't say either of the above. I usually say 'No, thank you. I'm not interested.'
