Need urgent help on writing a thanking letter to my boss

HI , i need to thanks my boss. He has released me from his project and allowed me to travel back to my home town. I had some family problem.

I need to write a thanking letter to him. I prepared an initial draft. Any correction to it from your-side will be highly valued.

Dear Sir,

I wanted to express my gratitude to you for all the support and understanding you provide for last three months.

Working under you and with team was a great experience.

I would have continued working here, but due to some personal reasons I need to move back to my base branch.

In future , if I had a chance, I would love to come here and work under you.

Once again, Thanks a lot. I highly appreciate the support you provided to me at professional and personal front.

Best regards,
